Guidance for Navigating the Trail
We strongly recommend that you use at least a map and a copy of the route descriptions found on this page.
If you have the JMHT booklet, please note that the actual trail description is out of date for Section 1 as there have been two diversions incorporated. OS maps have been updated but your paper and/or electronic version may not show the updated route.
All signage is up to date. Using a combination of signage, map and trail description should keep you on the trail.

Route Updates
The trail sometimes needs to be updated and closures can be put into effect at short notice. We are aware of the following changes to the route that is described in the PDF and GPX files above:
